MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University coaching staff has named its award winners for the USF game played in Tampa, Fla., this past Friday.

Offensive Champion – None; Defensive Champion – Keilen Dykes; Special Teams Champion – Pat McAfee; Offensive Scout Champion – Phil Conroy; Defensive Scout Champion – Tyler Rader; Special Teams Scout Champion – Derek Long; Hammer Award – None.

The Mountaineers, 4-1 overall, 0-1 Big EAST Conference, No. 12 in the USA Today/Coaches Poll and No. 13 in the AP Poll, travel to Syracuse, N.Y., on Saturday, Oct. 6, to face Syracuse, 1-4, 1-0 in the league, in the BIG EAST Game of the Week, televised on ESPN Regional at the Carrier Dome (49,262) at Noon.
