Track: WVU to Compete at Two Invitationals

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University’s track and field team will split-up Jan. 19-20 and compete at both the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Penn State Quad in University Park, Pa. Both meets are expected to last all day.
Eight Mountaineers will compete in Fayetteville, including seniors Jessica Czaikowski and Shani Boone, junior Abbie Stechschulte, sophomore Jamillah Nock and freshman April Rotilio.
Boone, Stechschulte and Rotilio are coming off great showings at the Doug Raymond Invitational. Each student-athlete qualified for the BIG EAST Championship. Boone and Rotilio will compete in the 60 meter dash; Stechschulte made the cut for the 60 meter hurdles.
Those traveling to University Park include freshman Kristen Loughry, who also qualified for BIG EAST in the 60 meter hurdles at last week’s invitational.
The team will reunite Jan. 26-27 and compete in the National Open at University Park, Pa. The meet is set to last all day.
