Football: Fan Day is August 20

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The Mountaineer football team will hold its annual “Fan Day” on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 20, giving West Virginia fans an opportunity to get autographs and photos with their favorite WVU coaches and players.
The Fan Day activities will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility at Mountaineer Field. Gates will open at 1:15 p.m.
Coach Rich Rodriguez, assistant coaches and WVU players and other Mountaineer personalities will be signing autographs and visiting with fans until 3:30 p.m.
Special prizes will be given away throughout the afternoon. Admission is free and official Mountaineer souvenirs will be on sale.
The Mountaineers begin practice Saturday, August 5, for the upcoming 2006 campaign.
