Koontz is a two-time recipient of the award as she was a first-team selection in 2004-05. The Lexington, N.C., native compiled a career record of 54-41 during her tenure and won the Jane Little Memorial Award twice during her career. Koontz now moves on to consideration for the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America team.
