Football: Hall of Fame Date Set

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University will hold its 16th annual Sports Hall of Fame induction on Saturday, November 11, prior to the WVU-Cincinnati football game that day.
The 2006 class includes longtime coach Quentin Barnette, wrestling national champion Scott Collins, legendary sportswriter Mickey Furfari, basketball standout Clyde Green, All-America wrestler Louis Guidi, football's George Henshaw and two-sport standout Sam Mandich.
Varsity Weekend, including a golf tournament and pre-game social outing, will be held Saturday, October 14, before the WVU-Syracuse game as part of Homecoming festivities.
Tickets for the seven-game home schedule that includes games against Marshall, Eastern Washington, Maryland, Syracuse, Cincinnati, South Florida and Rutgers are $255 each.
Two mini-packages are available. Mini-package #1 for $145 includes tickets for the Marshall, Maryland, Cincinnati and Rutgers games, while mini-package #2 for $150 gives fans the opportunity to see Marshall, Syracuse, South Florida and Rutgers.
