Men's Basketball: Pittsnogle in 3-Point Contest

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia senior center Kevin Pittsnogle has been chosen to participate in the three-point competition at the 18th annual Dell College Basketball Slam Dunk and Three-Point Shooting Championships, which will take place on Thursday, March 30, at 7 p.m., at Butler University.
The event is being produced by Intersport, a Chicago-based media group, and will be televised by ESPN on a tape-delayed basis Thursday at 9:00 p.m.
The Martinsburg, W.Va., native is WVU's all-time leader in three-point field goals made with 253. He shot 41.1 percent from three-point range for his career, ranking second all-time in school history. Pittsnogle scored 1,708 points at WVU, ranking sixth in school history.
Tickets for the live event are $10 for adults, $8 for students and those under 18 years of age, and may be purchased through TicketMaster.
