Gymnastics: First National TV Meet Airs Tuesday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University gymnastics team will appear on national television for the first time in team history on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 3:30 p.m., as ESPN2 will air the Mountaineers’ second-place finish in last Friday’s meet at Florida’s Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville.
The Mountaineers (7-4) posted a season-high road score of 194.2 and defeated No. 21 Arkansas (194.025) and No. 22 North Carolina (193.125). Host-team and No. 5-ranked Florida won the meet with a season-best 196.95.
Freshman Mehgan Morris won the uneven bars competition with a career-high 9.9, as WVU (49.175) registered its best bars score since March 13, 2004.
