Track: Day Two of the Sykes-Sabock Cup

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The West Virginia University indoor track team placed 11th with 22 points at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup on Saturday, Feb. 11, in State College, Pa.
Senior Junique Morris ran her best time of the season in the 200-meter dash. The Alexandria, Va., native crossed the line at 24.73 to take 13th, while teammate Shani Boone placed 24th with a time of 25.20
Senior Susan Davis placed ninth in the 800-meter run at 2:14.55 and freshman Raeleen Hunter ran a 1:36.58 to place sixth in the 600-meter run to round out top WVU finishers from day two.
Host Penn State won the meet with 111 points, followed by Akron (82), Eastern Michigan (77.50), Cornell (72), and Pittsburgh (57.50) were the top five teams.
WVU returns to action this weekend at the BIG EAST championships in Akron, Ohio.
