Gymnastics: WVU Ranked 24th in Preseason Poll

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University gymnastics team has been ranked 24th in the 2007 GymInfo preseason coaches poll released on Monday.
Georgia received 28 first-place votes to be ranked No. 1, while Utah, Florida, Alabama and UCLA rounded out the top five teams. WVU will face seven schools ranked in the preseason poll, including two in the top 10, Michigan and Nebraska.
The Mountaineers will begin their year with the annual Gold and Blue meet on Jan. 7, and open the regular season hosting Michigan and James Madison on Jan. 12, at 7:30 p.m., in the Coliseum.
