Football: Three Make Academic Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Three West Virginia University football players have been named to the District II all-academic team by ESPN The Magazine and CoSIDA.
Linebacker Jay Henry, a 4.0 gpa senior in finance and accounting, and offensive linemen Dan Mozes, a senior with a 3.58 in communications, and Ryan Stanchek, a sophomore with a 3.52 in athletic coaching education, were named to the district first team.
These three Mountaineers are eligible for Academic All-America consideration. Those teams will be announced November 30.
District II is comprised of I-A and I-AA teams in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
