Hall of Fame Set For Cincinnati Game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University will hold its 16th annual Sports Hall of Fame induction on Saturday, November 11, prior to the WVU-Cincinnati football game that day.
The 2006 class includes longtime coach Quentin Barnette, wrestling national champion Scott Collins, legendary sportswriter Mickey Furfari, basketball standout Clyde Green, All-America wrestler Louis Guidi, football’s George Henshaw and two-sport standout Sam Mandich.
Kickoff time for the Cincinnati game will be announced by Monday. If the game is at noon, induction ceremonies will begin at 9:30 a.m. that Saturday in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility. Should kickoff be moved to 8 p.m., the Hall of Fame induction will begin at 5 p.m.
