MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The West Virginia University coaching staff has selected its award winners for outstanding play in the 37-11 BIG EAST win at Connecticut.
Offensive Champion - PATRICK WHITE; Defensive Champion - WARREN YOUNG; Special Teams Champion - PAT MCAFEE; Offensive Scout Champion - ADAM SERENA; Defensive Scout Champion - ERIC TURNER; Special Teams Scout Champion - JUSTIN BLANKENSHIP; Hammer Award - REED WILLIAMS.
The 7-0 Mountaineers visit Louisville next Thursday for a 7:30 p.m. game to be televised by ESPN.
