Men's Basketball: Tickets to go on Sale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Season and single-game non-conference tickets, including the Guardians Classic, for West Virginia's 2005-06 basketball season will go on sale Monday, Oct. 3, at the Mountaineer Ticket Office.
The Mountaineers will play 15 games at the WVU Coliseum, including eight BIG EAST contests and nine weekend games. BIG EAST conference rivals Pitt, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Connecticut and Providence plus league newcomers Cincinnati, Louisville and Marquette will all make visits to the Coliseum this year. In non-conference action, LSU will be making its first trip to Morgantown, plus the Mountaineers will also serve as a two-day host of the Guardians Classic, which includes two games each on Nov. 12 and 13 to open the season.
The price of a season ticket is $285. Faculty/staff can purchase up to six season tickets at the discounted price of $228 each.
Mountaineer Athletic Club members and past season ticket holders must order their tickets by Nov. 1 to reserve priority seating. Order forms are being mailed to MAC members and past season ticket holders.
To order 2005-06 season tickets, call 1-800-WVU GAME or visit the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum. BIG EAST single game tickets will go on sale Monday, Nov. 14.
