MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The West Virginia University coaching staff has selected its award winners for outstanding play in the 31-19 win at Maryland.
Offensive Champion - OWEN SCHMITT; Defensive Champion - JAY HENRY; Special Teams Champion - PAT MCAFEE; Offensive Scout Champions - SAM MORRONE and LEYONNE PRYCE; Defensive Scout Champion - DAVID IGONO; Special Teams Scout Champion - BRAD MCCLUNG; Hammer Award - DEE MCCANN.
The 3-0 Mountaineers host East Carolina in a noon game Saturday; that game will be televised as the BIG EAST game of the week.
