MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University cross country team returns to action this weekend in the Lock Haven Invitational hosted by Penn State, Saturday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m., in Lock Haven, Pa.
Last week senior Susan Davis led the Mountaineers to a team fourth place finish at the Great Meadows Invitational. The Romney, W.Va. native ran a time of 17:55 to finish in ninth place individually.
“We are looking to build off last weekend to gain momentum for the middle part of the season,” head coach Sean Cleary says. “The girls are still working very hard yet are still trying to figure out where they are on the team.”
