MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University cross country team will open the season next Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Hoya Invitational in Fairfax, Va.
WVU was originally scheduled to open its season this weekend at the Duquesne Duals in Pittsburgh, Pa., but instead opted to not make the trip.
WVU also has two more meets scheduled in September. The Mountaineers will travel to Lock Haven, Pa., on Sept. 17, to participate in the Lock Haven Invitational. Then on Sept. 30, they will travel to South Bend, Ind., for the Notre Dame Invitational.
