Women's Soccer: Three Make List of Top Recruits

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Three members of the incoming West Virginia University women’s soccer class were recently included in SoccerBuzz’s list of Top 25 international recruits.
Canadians Amanda Cicchini, Deana Everett and Robin Rushton were recognized by the online magazine which is solely devoted to women’s soccer.
The list of 25 was announced in alphabetical order, with the top five being ranked. Cicchini, who has seen time with the full Canadian national team, was ranked as the third-best international recruit signing to play in the United States.
All three, Cicchini (a midfielder), Everett (a forward) and Rushton (a defender), have significant experience playing with the Canadian U-19 national team.
The three highlight an incoming class of 11 that will help the Mountaineers seek their sixth-straight NCAA tournament appearance in 2005.
