Basketball Tribute Dinner Presented by MAC

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Tickets are on sale now for a special tribute dinner to Mountaineer basketball presented by the Mountaineer Athletic Club on Sunday, May 1, at the Radisson Waterfront hotel.
The evening will honor the 2005 WVU men’s and women’s basketball teams. The men finished with a 24-11 record and an appearance in the Elite Eight of the NCAA basketball tournament under coach John Beilein. Mike Carey’s women’s team compiled a 21-13 mark and reached the championship game of the Postseason Sportsview.TV WNIT
Tickets are $45 each and tables can be reserved through the MAC for $500. Front row tables can be purchased for $1,200. A reception starts the evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. The awards portion of the tribute for the men’s and women’s teams closes out the evening.
