Baseball: Sunday's Game Cancelled

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University’s baseball game with Maryland-Eastern Shore on Sunday has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the Morgantown area.
The Mountaineers and Fighting Hawks were scheduled to close a four-game series on Sunday. WVU took the first three games (10-1,6-5, 23-1) for its third series sweep of the season.
Freshmen Brandon Drespling and Tyler Kuhn led the offensive attack batting .800 (4-for-5, 2 SAC) and .600 (6-for-10, 4 BB, 8 RBI) respectively.
West Virginia’s spring training camp scheduled to follow today’s game, will now take place at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility. Registration is scheduled for 1 p.m., with camp set to begin around 1:30 p.m.
West Virginia returns to action on Wednesday, April 27, for a night game at Hawley Field. The Mountaineers host Ohio with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
