MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women’s track team is set to travel across the country to California on April 15-17 to compete in the Mt. Sac Relays and Long Beach State Invitational.
WVU will compete at Mt. Sac on Friday before heading down the coast to take part in the Long Beach State Invitational on Saturday. West Virginia will return to Mt. Sac to finish up the weekend on Sunday.
WVU was originally scheduled to compete this week in the Sea Relay Relays in Knoxville, Tenn., but decided to make the trip to California for the opportunity to compete in two prestigious meets. The Mt. Sac Relays, in particular, is known for attracting some of the finest track stars in the world.
