MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Tickets go on sale for West Virginia's appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16 starting at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Mountaineer Ticket Office. The Mountaineers will face Texas Tech on Thursday in Albuquerque at The Pit (18,018).
Tickets are priced at $110 each which covers Thursday's two-game session and the regional championship final on Saturday. Purchases are restricted to Mountaineer Athletic Club members and past WVU ticket holders. Only fans with West Virginia affiliation will be allowed to order tickets and WVU reserves the right to limit the number of tickets purchased.
Those purchasing tickets from the Mountaineer Ticket Office will be able to pick up their tickets in Albuquerque on Thursday at the West Virginia will call window. Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards will be accepted.
The Mountaineers (23-10) will be making their first NCAA Sweet 16 appearance since 1998 and will face Texas Tech (22-10) for the first time in school history. The Red Raiders will make their first Sweet 16 appearance since 1996.
