Men's Basketball: WVU To Be Honored at WNIT Game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Those who missed welcoming home the West Virginia University men's basketball team at the WVU Coliseum today get another chance to cheer on the team at the WVU women's basketball WNIT game against St. John's, Monday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m.
Fresh off a 111-105 double-overtime victory over No. 2 seeded and fifth ranked Wake Forest, the WVU men and coaching staff will be recognized for its outstanding play and advancement to the NCAA Tournament's "Sweet 16."
The Mountaineer women (18-12) will meet BIG EAST rival St. John's (20-10) for the second time at home this season in second round action of the Postseason Sportsview.tv WNIT. WVU defeated St. John's 84-58 earlier this year the WVU Coliseum and leads the all-time series by an 11-3 count.
Tickets for the WNIT are $4 for WVU students with proper identification and $6 for the general public. The Mountaineer Ticket Office opens at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 21. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate.
