Swimming: Women Travel to Marshall

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's swimming and diving team will travel to face Marshall on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at 2 p.m. in Huntington, W.Va.

The meet was originally scheduled for Oct. 22 at the WVU Natatorium but was forced to be postponed due to technical difficulties with the pool.

"We're looking to have a good showing against Marshall. We're going to keep racing and training to focus on the BIG EAST Championships," head coach Sergio Lopez said.

The Mountaineers have been idle since the Terrpain Cup Invitational which was held Nov. 17-19 at the University of Maryland. The women place third overall out of nine teams with 537 points.
