Women's Tennis: WVU Lends Helping Hand to So. Miss

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., - The West Virginia University athletic department joins the list of other organizations to help Hurricane Katrina victims by hosting the Southern Mississippi women's tennis team at the Martha Thorn Invitational held in Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 7-9, 2005. In an effort to help their student-athletes be assured they can still compete, the following items have been generously donated: - Euro-Suites has given five complimentary rooms for three nights - West Virginia University is allowing the team use of a state van during their stay
Meals for the team have been donated by: -Heavenly Ham -Jersey Subs -Papa John's -Texas Roadhouse
