Women's Tennis: Lyskawa Advances to Round of 64

WEST POINT, N.Y. - West Virginia University women’s tennis player Monica Lyskawa defeated Olivia Fleszar of Deleware (6-3, 6-2) to advance to the round of 64 in the ITA Eastern Regional on Saturday, October 22, 2005.

Lyskawa will face Marianna Baker of Maryland Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m.

In doubles action, the duo of senior Raynie Theis and sophomore Stacey Percival begin play tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 23 against Mukundan-Peterzan of Harvard.

The ITA Regional is composed of the top players from the Eastern division, in which West Virginia competes. Action continues until Wednesday, Oct. 26.
