Track: WVU Travels to PSU Quadrangular

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women’s track team travels to State College, Pa., to compete in the Penn State Quadrangular on Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.
The meet is open to individual competitors from around the region. West Virginia and Penn State are the only two collegiate teams competing in the meet.
The Mountaineers, ranked 19th nationally in the latest Trackwire top 25 poll, are coming off a second place finish at the Black Squirrel Classic on Jan. 13. WVU won a total of six events at the meet including the pentathlon, 500 meters, 60 meter hurdles, 60 meter dash, 400 meters and distance medley relay.
Saturday’s meet is scheduled to begin at noon and end at approximately 4 p.m.
