Brando's Words Motivating

So, Tim Brando thinks the Mountaineer football schedule is weak.
No Tim, what is weak is that hair dye you’re using. I’ve never quite seen that color before. It’s kind of a cross between Hostess-fruit-pie cherry and shoe-polish brown. But, if you think it works for you, go with it.
I knew Brando’s harsh comments about the Mountaineers were coming before they even left his SEC-loving lips last Saturday. He almost sounded as if he was holding West Virginia personally responsible for his wrecked parlay card.
Keep in mind, Brando was raised on SEC football growing up in Shreveport, La. In addition to serving as studio host of CBS Sports’ College Football Today and At the Half, he also provides commentary for Jefferson Pilot’s coverage of SEC and ACC basketball as well as serving host of the SEC-focused radio show Conference Call, which airs throughout the southeast.
As you can see, Brando is SEC right down to his underwear.
You have to understand that college football today still operates with the ‘Old Boy’ mentality. The truth is that West Virginia University is NOT one of the accepted ‘Old Boys.’
West Virginia’s 3-0 start and chance of representing the Big East in the BCS has the ‘Old Boys’ concerned. They don’t like the West Virginias of the world -- they hope and pray they get their bubble burst each and every time they hit the field.

Timmy Brando is upset that the Big East still has its BCS invite. Sorry Tim, WVU didn’t ask three schools to leave its conference. Don’t blame West Virginia for having to fill its Miami date with James Madison. If Miami was still in the league and made its scheduled visit to Morgantown then no one would be yelping about the Mountaineers schedule.
Why don’t you call Donna Shalala or Paul Dee if you’re looking for the real story.
For that matter why don’t you call Dan Rather over in the news division, I understand he has some real solid contacts when it comes to investigative work.
And Mountaineer fans don’t think for a moment the sniping at WVU will end anytime soon. In fact, it will only get louder with each victory.
However, it’s not all bad. Rich Rodriguez will use the negative ammunition to motivate his team each week. Anyone thinking WVU could be overconfident need not worry. The incoming criticism will only add to the collective chip on the Mountaineers’ shoulder.
Anyone who has followed the WVU program knows they perform much better as the underdog, and that’s exactly the way Coach Rod will have his team thinking for rest of this season.
So for that, Tim, thanks for the inspiration!
