Volleyball: Team Hosts WVU Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team welcomes four visiting schools to the 2004 West Virginia Invitational on Saturday, Sep. 11, and Sunday, Sep. 12, at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, W.Va.
The two-day tournament will include West Virginia (0-3), Bowling Green (0-3), High Point (2-4), Delaware State (1-5) and Robert Morris (2-2).
The Mountaineers begin play on Saturday, Sep. 11, at 3 p.m. against High Point before taking on Delaware State in the nightcap at 8 p.m. West Virginia opens play at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sep. 12, versus Bowling Green and then plays five-time defending Northeast Conference champion Robert Morris at 8 p.m.
The Mountaineers enter the weekend looking for their first victory of the season after dropping their first three matches of the year against Tennessee Tech (2-3), Coastal Carolina (0-3) and Dayton (0-3) on Sep. 3-4 at the Flyer Invitational in Dayton, Ohio.

3 p.m. - West Virginia vs. High Point
5:30 p.m. - Bowling Green vs. Robert Morris
8 p.m. - Delaware State vs. West Virginia
Sunday, September 12
10 a.m. - High Point vs. Delaware State
12:30 p.m. - West Virginia vs. Bowling Green
3 p.m. - Robert Morris vs. High Point
5:30 p.m. - Delaware State vs. Bowling Green
8 p.m. - Robert Morris vs. West Virginia
