Football: Coach Rod on ESPN Friday Night

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University football coach Rich Rodriguez will join ESPN’s "Three Wise Men" – Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit – during tonight’s 2004 College GameDay Season Preview Special Built by The Home Depot.
The show will air live from 7 to 8 pm Friday night and once again Saturday morning at 11 am.
The program will feature segments from ESPN’s Rece Davis, Trev Alberts and Mark May from FedEx Field in Landover, Md., on the eve of Saturday’s USC-Virginia Tech clash at 8 pm Saturday night on ESPN.
The crew will also profile USC quarterback Matt Leinhart; Mel Kiper will give his preseason top five players for next year’s NFL draft; Chris will sit down with USC coach Pete Carroll for a one-on-one interview; Kirk and Lee will unveil their bowl predictions; Trev, Mark and Rece will host a college football round table and the ESPN crew will take some all access looks around the country, including a live trip to Morgantown to visit with Coach Rod during the team’s annual “Beanie Bowl.”
West Virginia, ranked 10th in the AP poll and 11th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, opens the season next Saturday at Mountaineer Field against East Carolina at 6 pm.
