Women's Soccer: Recruiting Class Ranked

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The 2004 West Virginia University women’s soccer recruiting class was recently tabbed 21st in the nation by SoccerBuzz.
The Top 25 nod is the second in women’s soccer history. Last season, the Mountaineer newcomers were ranked 18th.
Joining the Mountaineers for the fall season are four talented recruits. They are: Ashley Banks (Annanadale, Va.), Kim Bonilla (Dumfries, Va.), Lisa DuCote (Fredericksburg, Va.) and Kiley Harris (Cicero, Ind.).
Including WVU, four BIG EAST schools had recruiting classes in the Top 25. Notre Dame (second), Villanova (11th) and Boston College’s (18th) classes were also ranked.
West Virginia opens its 2004 season on Friday, Aug. 27, at the Kentucky Invitational when it takes on Kentucky at 7:30 p.m.
