Women's Soccer: Spring Season Ends

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's soccer team concluded its spring season with a 5-0 win over Duquense to claim the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center tournament crown on Saturday, April 24.
En route to the championship match, the Mountaineers did not surrender a goal, downing PWSI Eclipse (2-0), St. Francis (4-0) and Loyola (2-0).
On Sunday, April 25, team members and coaches conducted a clinic for area children and also participated in the second annual Breast Cancer Soccer Challenge.
All proceeds from the weekend's events will be donated to the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center at WVU's Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
