MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's tennis team (8-6, 2-4) travels to Toledo for a non-conference match on Wednesday, April 14, at the University of Toledo tennis courts in Toledo, Ohio.
Wednesday's match marks the Mountaineer's first match against a non-conference opponent since Mar. 31 when they defeated Morgan State, 6-0. West Virginia fell to Syracuse on April 9 by a score of 7-0, extending their losing streak to three games.
"We have been hampered by injuries and a little bit of bad luck over the last few weeks," coach Dan Silverstein says. "We've used these last couple of matches as a learning tool for the future. We know we must compete better against a solid Toledo team Wednesday."
Wednesday's match is scheduled to get underway at approximately 3 p.m.
