Women's Track: WVU Travels to ECAC Indoors

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Select members of the West Virginia University women's track team are set to compete in the ECAC Indoor Championships on Mar. 6-7 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass.
Competitors from 72 teams across the region are expected to compete in the weekend's regional championships.
In order to compete at the ECAC championships, athletes must meet specific qualifying standards at some point over the course of the 2003-04 indoor season.
West Virginia's best finishes from a year ago came from juniors Jennifer Kemp and Tara Struyk who placed second in the 800 meters and 5,000 meters respectively.
Saturday's opening events begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. with action coming to a close at 6 p.m. Sunday's competition opens at 1 p.m. with the awards ceremony slated for 4 p.m.
