Men's Soccer: WVU Opens Spring Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University men's soccer team begins their spring scrimmage schedule this Saturday, March 6, when they travel to Elon, N.C., to face Elon University at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday's match against the Phoenix opens up a busy spring in which head coach Mike Seabolt and the Mountaineers face a slate of challenging opponents.
WVU returns home on Wednesday, March 24, to host the A-League's Pittsburgh Riverhounds in a 7 p.m. scrimmage at the Mountaineer Soccer Complex.
On Wednesday, April 7, Wheeling Jesuit comes to Morgantown for a 7 p.m. scrimmage at the Mountaineer Soccer Complex as well. Admission for both home scrimmages is free.
The team then closes out their spring at an all-day indoor tournament at Virginia Tech. The team has matches in Blacksburg, Va., beginning at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
