MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia football fans staying at the Sawgrass Marriott in Jacksonville, Fla., are encouraged to make their New Year’s Eve plans now.
The Sawgrass Marriott is planning the ultimate New Year’s Eve Party with a night of magic, color and sounds complimented by dazzling New Orleans-style decorations. As guests arrive they will be greeted by stilt walkers as they stroll past a façade of a vintage New Orleans street.
The party takes off with the electrifying 18-piece band “KTG” as well as a high-energy live disc jockey in the Champions Ballroom. A New Orleans riverboat style casino which will include (just for fun) roulette tables, craps tables, wheel of fortune, black jack tables and slot machines will be featured in the Champions Foyer.
Also included in this package are elaborate stations in the Players ballroom between 8 pm – 10 pm, a welcome cocktail, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
The party starts at 7:30 pm and lasts until 1 am.
