PITTSBURGH - Tickets for the Nov. 25 "Backyard Brawl" between Pittsburgh and West Virginia at Heinz Field will go on sale this Thursday, Oct. 7, at 8:30 a.m.
Tickets may be purchased by calling the Panthers Ticket Office at (800) 643-PITT or TicketMaster at (412) 323-1919. Tickets can also be ordered online at www.pittsburghpanthers.com Seats will be assigned on a best-available basis.
The last Backyard Brawl played in Pittsburgh (Nov. 30, 2002) attracted the largest crowd in Heinz Field history with 66,731 in attendance. The 2002 game's attendance was also the second-largest home crowd in Panthers history, trailing only the Oct. 29, 1938 Fordham game at Pitt Stadium (68,918).
The kickoff time for this year's game is set for 8 p.m.
