MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The WVU swimming and diving team will compete against BIG EAST rival Pitt in dual meet action on Saturday, Jan. 10, at noon, in the WVU Natatorium.
In addition, the dual meet against Duquesne originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 9, has been canceled due to conflicts in scheduling.
It will be the Mountaineers' first meet since competing in the Notre Dame Invitational back on Dec. 4-6, as well as their first home dual meet of the season.
The team spent ten days in December on their annual winter training trip, held this year in Mission Viejo, Calif.
The WVU men's squad shows a 4-2 dual meet mark and are led by all-conference senior Kleyton Franca, who has won at least one event in every meet thus far. The West Virginia women's team has notched a 3-4 dual meet record and have received solid swims from senior backstroker/freestyler Lee Ann Johnston.
Both squads placed third overall at the Notre Dame Invitational in December.
