Men's Soccer: Noble Tabbed by BIG EAST

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University freshman goalkeeper Nick Noble was named the BIG EAST rookie of the week after helping his team win two matches on the road last weekend.
The Damascus, Md. native stopped four shots in a 1-0 double overtime win against BIG EAST opponent Villanova on Friday, September 5. He followed Friday's effort by tallying two saves against Drexel in another 1-0 overtime win on Sunday, Sept. 7.
In all, Noble recorded 199:34 minutes of play in his first two games on the field as a Mountaineer.
Noble and his teammates return to the field when they travel to Loretto, Pa. to face St. Francis (Pa.) On Friday, Sept. 12. The Mountaineers (2-2-0) return home on Sunday, Sept. 14, to host Robert Morris as part of Super Soccer Sunday at the Mountaineer Soccer Complex. Kickoff with the Colonials is set for 4 p.m.
