Women's Soccer: Weekly Rankings

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - In rankings released late Monday evening, little has changed for the West Virginia University women's soccer team.
The Mountaineers went 2-0 last week, defeating Miami 3-1 Friday, Sept. 12, on the road and earning a 3-2 home victory over St. John's on Sunday, Sept. 14.
WVU remained the No.8 team in the country in this week's Soccer America poll, and rose from No.17 to No.14 in the latest SoccerBuzz slate.
West Virginia fell three notches in the NSCAA rankings, moving from No.12 to No.15.
The Mountaineers take their 5-1-0 record on the road to Connecticut this weekend where they will first face off against UConn on Friday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m., and then take on the Yale Bulldogs on Sunday, Sept. 21, at a neutral site in New Britian, Conn. Game time for the match with Yale is set for 1 p.m.
