Football: Cincinnati Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The following West Virginia University football players were selected as weekly award winners by the WVU coaching staff for their play in the Cincinnati game:

Offensive Champion -- none; Defensive Champions – BRIAN KING, MIKE LORELLO and BEN LYNCH; Special Teams Champion -- SCOTT GYORKO; Scout Team Champions – BRAD PALMER and EDDIE JACKSON (offense); VINCE BEAMER (defense); Hammer Award -- BRIAN KING.

West Virginia visits Maryland for a 6:05 p.m. game Saturday at Byrd Stadium.
