MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – There’s a new team in town and you can watch them for the first time together Friday night.
The season debut of Mountaineer Magazine is this Friday, Aug. 29, in markets throughout West Virginia. This year Laura Baker of WCHS-TV 8 in Charleston has joined Mountaineer Magazine and will serve as co-host for the 2003 season along with Tony Caridi.
Longtime MSN veteran Hoppy Kercheval will also be on hand for his weekly interviews with Mountaineer coach Rich Rodriguez.
Baker is replacing veteran Mountaineer Magazine co-host Natalie Tennant, who is taking a leave of absence from the show to pursue a career in politics.
Mountaineer Magazine will air Friday night at 9 pm in the Eastern Panhandle on WJAL, at 10 pm in North Central West Virginia on WVFX, and at 11:35 pm on WCHS in Charleston and WOAY in Beckley.
On Saturday, WOAY will replay Mountaineer Magazine at 6:30 am, WCHS, WOAY, WVFX, WJAL and WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio, will air the show at 11:30 am.
