Track: Team Set for BIG EAST Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University track team will travel to Storrs, Conn., for the BIG EAST championships, on May 2-4, at the George J. Sherman Family-Sports Complex, hosted by Connecticut.
Multi-event competition will begin Friday, May 2, at noon. Track events will begin Saturday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m., and finals will begin Sunday, May 4, at 11 a.m.
"Coming off a very productive Penn Relays the men's team will look to better last year's performance, and hopefully finish in the top five," says assistant coach Sean Cleary. "In addition, we are fielding the youngest women's team in recent history, and hope to come away from the meet with as many regional qualifiers as possible."
