MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- WVU strength coach Doug Elias has announced the best performers in the Mountaineers’ off-season football conditioning program.
A “dominator” was determined as the overall winner in three categories: Pat Liebig (OL/DL), Mo Howard (LB/TE/FB) and Quincy Wilson (WR/DB/RB/QB/SP). Top event performers by category were:
OL/DL: Vertical Jump - Craig Wilson (35.5); Bench Press - Rachid Stoury (415); 225 Lifts - Pat Liebig (24); Squat Lift - Pat Liebig (545); and Hang Cleans - Pat Liebig (370).
LB/TE/FB: Vertical Jump - Mo Howard (36.5); Bench Press - Mo Howard (400); 225 Lifts - Moe Fofana and Tory Johnson (20); Squat Lift - Moe Fofana (525); and Hang Cleans - Ryan Thomas (325).
WR/DB/RB/QB/SP: Vertical Jump - Dee Alston (41.5); Bench Press - Quincy Wilson (380); 225 Lifts - Quincy Wilson (21); Squat Lift - Erick Phillips (565); and Hang Cleans - Bryan Wright (335).
