Track: Mountaineers Set for Penn Relays

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University track and field teams will travel to Philadelphia to compete at the Penn Relays, at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field, with events beginning on Thursday, April 24, and continuing through Saturday, April 26.
The meet, formally called the University of Pennsylvania Relay Carnival, is in its 109th year and expects to feature over 100,000 participants. Track and field athletes come from high schools, colleges, Olympic development programs and professional track clubs from across the world to compete.

In BIG EAST news, 11 Mountaineers are ranked in the top five of their respective events in the conference.
Leading the pack is freshman Marc Kellman, whose triple jump of 15.15m, makes him the No.1 seed.
