Women's Tennis: WVU Takes on Marshall

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's tennis team will play host to No. 71 Marshall on Tuesday, April 15, at the Mountaineer Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
The Mountaineers are coming off a huge 4-3 victory over UMBC and hold a record of 11-9 on the year.
Marshall is currently ranked No.71 in the country by the ITA and are 13-7 overall. They are also undefeated in the Mid-American Conference. The doubles team of Jessica Johnson and Alice Sukner are ranked 21st.
"This looks to be the most intense match of the year for the Mountaineers," said coach Dan Silverstein. "I think that the win over UMBC will give us the confidence we need to defeat Marshall."
