Gymnastics: Seven Named to Academic Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Seven West Virginia University gymnasts have been named to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) all-academic team announced today.
A total of 77 gymnasts from the eight EAGL schools were named to the squad eight of which are seniors who were named to the team for the fourth consecutive year, including WVU's Amanda Halovanic.
Amazingly, of the 132 gymnasts who compete on the eight EAGL teams, 58.3 percent of them were named to the EAGL all-academic team this year.
In order to be named to the EAGL all-academic team, student-athletes must have a grade point average of 3.00 or higher in the two previous semesters.
The following are the Mountaineer gymnasts who were named to the team.
