CHARLESTON, S.C. – The West Virginia University men’s tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision at The Citadel Tuesday afternoon.
The match was played at the Donald C. Bunch Courts at the Earle Tennis Center.
The Mountaineers claimed the doubles point when the tandem’s of Ian Bliss and Tony Epkey and Eric Kochanski and Chris Green claimed their doubles matches, but WVU was outplayed in the singles portions, winning just two of six matches.

Julian Mesa and Kyle Markham both lost close, three-set decisions at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
“The scores were pretty close at five and six,” said West Virginia coach Ed Dickson.
