Women's Basketball: WVU at Georgetown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team (12-7, 1-7) travels to Georgetown (12-7, 3-5) on Saturday, Feb. 7, for a 4 p.m., contest with the Hoyas at McDonough Arena.
The Mountaineers enter Saturday's contest having defeated Providence 61-54 on Wednesday at the WVU Coliseum for their first conference victory. West Virginia was paced by the play of sophomore forward Latitia Williams, who netted a game and career- high 16 points in the victory.
Georgetown looks to rebound from its 74-49 defeat at Notre Dame last Wednesday. The Hoyas are led by junior Rebekkah Brunson who averages 17.4 points and 11.5 rebounds a game, and boasts a BIG EAST best 12 double-doubles on the season.
The Mountaineers return to action following the Georgetown game on Wednesday, Feb. 12, when they travel to Rutgers for a 7:30 p.m., contest.
