Track: Team Set for Last Chance Qualifier

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University track team will travel to Blacksburg, Va., on Saturday, March 1, to compete in Virginia Tech's Last Chance Qualifier, with events beginning at 10 a.m. at the Rector Field House.
Coach Jeff Huntoon anticipates taking only a select few to the meet, in hopes of getting athletes qualified for nationals or to improve personal bests.
"We're looking for a little tune-up before IC4A/ECAC's next weekend," says Huntoon. "At the Last Chance, we're looking to progress in individual eastern and national rankings."
The Mountaineers will return to action next weekend, March 7-9, at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, in Boston, Mass., at Boston University and the Reggie Lewis Indoor Facility.
