Women's Tennis: WVU Set For No. 60 Terps

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's tennis team will travel to College Park, Md., on Thursday, Feb. 27, to face No. 60 Maryland. The match will be held at the Tennis Center in College Park, Md., beginning at 2:30 p.m.
The Mountaineers are 1-5 with their last loss at No. 30 Alabama.
The Terrapins are coming off their first loss of the season against Penn State, 4-3. Maryland is 5-1 on the year and junior Emily Marker is ranked No. 88 in singles and in doubles is ranked No. 28 with teammate Delila Causevic.
"Maryland is a top program and I feel that our team is good enough to play against them," said coach Dan Silverstein. "We need to step up and win some matches."
